About the role
- Define the technical architecture that transforms our proven workflows into a modular, reusable platform - including data strategy, API design principles, and AI service integration.
- Establish standards for quality and testing that allow our hybrid onshore/offshore team to maintain high quality and sustainable delivery velocity.
- Partner with our Director of InfoSec to ensure platform architecture supports SOC 2, HIPAA, and FedRAMP requirements.
- Recruit and mentor the senior leadership layer needed to support a world-class engineering culture.
Requirements
- 5+ years in senior leadership (VP/Director). You have led engineering through the transition from high-growth startup to enterprise platform.
- Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, SaaS architecture, and API design. You're comfortable reviewing technical designs and making architectural tradeoffs.
- Experience in GovTech, HealthTech, or FinTech. You understand how to build high-performance software within strict compliance constraints.
- You balance the "ideal" architectural state with the immediate needs of a fast-growing business and its customers.
