About the role
- You will research, conceive, develop, and run campaigns on a range of national and global issues, helping to channel our members' time and donations in the most effective ways possible.
- You will monitor local and global events to identify opportunities for strong and timely campaigns.
- You will consult with experts and support the development of a strong strategy, policy, and messaging.
- You will draft, proofread, and edit campaign emails and other marketing communications.
- You will draft, proofread, and edit prompts to be used with Artificial Intelligence to generate and enhance emails, communications, and other written materials.
- You will look for and identify relevant, issue-specific supporting materials from the press, NGOs, and other credible sources.
- You will send emails to CitizenGO’s supporters in your country to inform them about new campaigns and the results of ongoing efforts.
- You will propose offline actions, from ad buys to public petition deliveries and other campaign-related initiatives.
- You will coordinate materials in your country's language, including briefings to the Campaigns team, press releases, and research documents.
- You will engage in public speaking and media activities when needed.
- You will establish and strengthen connections with influencers, journalists, and activists on social media to enhance the reach of our campaigns.
- You will translate CitizenGO’s global campaigns and emails from English into your country’s language, if applicable.
- You will manage correspondence and consultation processes with members, including polling and feedback initiatives.
- You will help shape the overall strategic direction of the organization and, when needed, support additional tasks such as recruitment, team building, management, and special projects.
- You will establish coalitions with like-minded organizations to strengthen the mobilization and confrontational politics central to CitizenGO’s model.
- You will propose, assist, and advise Media Campaigners on offline events and campaign-related performances, attending events and taking ownership of offline actions when necessary for logistical reasons.
- You will review, manage, and support petitions published by members on the CitizenGO Petitions website.
- You will monitor the CitizenGO website for functionality and language accuracy, including typos and grammatical errors.
- You will train and support your Campaign Associate, if applicable, organize the strategy for your list, and collaborate to enhance growth, engagement, and brand visibility.
Requirements
- You are based in Switzerland and speak German as a first language.
- You have the availability to travel for offlines (on-site events) once a month.
- You have at least a B2-level proficiency in English. (Duolingo English Test required for non-natives, minimum score of 100).
- Spanish and other languages are a plus.
- You have enthusiasm for and broad experience with software tools, along with proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new ones.
- You possess strong strategic, creative, and innovative thinking skills, with the ability to analyze socio-political scenarios, develop complex ideas, and communicate them clearly.
- You have a solid understanding of how civic advocacy, citizen mobilization, and grassroots campaigning function.
- You are passionate about and deeply committed to defending life, family, and freedom.
- You demonstrate high professionalism, self-motivation, efficiency, and results-oriented delivery, even on short timelines.
- You have strong teamwork skills and are comfortable in a highly collaborative team culture within a hierarchical team structure.
- You possess strong project and staff management skills.
- You are able to adjust quickly to changing conditions and requirements.
- You are willing and able to work autonomously on a variety of tasks and projects, prioritizing them efficiently.
- You are proactive, take the initiative to get the job done, and contribute valuable projects and proposals that enrich the entire organization.
- You have strong user-level computer skills; experience with Google Workspace is preferred, and proficiency in CRMs and project management tools is an asset.
- You have a flexible schedule and are able to work under tight deadlines, including availability for evening and weekend work and occasional travel as needed.
- You have previous experience in copywriting and producing marketing content, which is considered an asset.
- You have proficiency in using Artificial Intelligence tools to generate emails, communications, and other written materials, which is considered an asset.
