About the role
- Establish and oversee application of operational risk policies, technology and governance processes to minimize losses from failed processes and inadequate controls.
- Independently assess risks and drive corrective actions to address root causes of operational risk losses.
- Serve as subject matter expert for Issues Management (KPI/KRI/Corrective Action Plans).
- Resolve transactional level escalations from vendors or internal partners.
- Analyze scorecards and performance management tools to mitigate exposure (risk/financial/regulatory).
- Monitor goals through performance, risk and relationship oversight of the extended supply chain.
- Collaborate to resolve contract-related issues and maintain relationships across business users and Lines of Defense.
- Provide advice and counsel related to technology or operations; act with limited supervision and exercise independent judgement.
Requirements
- 6-10 years experience navigating and networking across an enterprise utilizing internal and external resources.
- Third Party Oversight/Vendor Oversight experience preferred.
- Business writing experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Analytical Thinking; Controls Design; Escalation Management; Issue Management; Operational Risk; Policy and Regulation; Risk Controls and Monitors; Risk Identification and Assessment.
- Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision and act as SME to senior stakeholders.
