About the role

  • Manage and inspire a high-quality team of engineers.
  • Work with teams across FX Technology to define and then implement solutions that benefit the business.
  • Hands-on role includes technical implementation and thought leadership.
  • Manage/develop teams of professionals to accomplish established goals, conduct personnel duties, and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Drive the design and development of system architecture.
  • Enhance the quality of deliverables and ensure compliance with Citi documented policy and procedures.
  • Lead and deliver local staff forums and contribute to defining best practices for the department.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with Sales teams is required.
  • Demonstrable understanding of FX products is preferred.
  • Ability to develop a team that is seen as the engineering role model for the organization.
  • Proven track record of building new systems, replacing legacy systems and renovating existing systems.
  • Strong systems (software, hardware, networks) knowledge required to define solutions and trouble shoot issues.
  • Exceptional communicator who loves working with people, confident communicating at all levels.
  • Highly credible hands-on engineer.
  • Awareness of industry trends and leveraging new technologies as appropriate.
  • Experience in collaborating and influencing cross-functional teams.
