About the role

  • Serve as a strategic individual contributor responsible for overseeing the intake, prioritization, and execution of credit risk–related changes
  • Ensure all initiatives align with profitability objectives and regulatory expectations
  • Drive operational excellence by managing control breaks and supporting critical business-as-usual (BAU) processes
  • Partner with stakeholders across risk, operations, technology, compliance, and finance
  • Lead the end-to-end change management lifecycle for credit risk initiatives
  • Identify, assess, and manage control breaks across credit risk processes
  • Support core BAU credit risk processes, including reporting, risk assessments, and compliance checks
  • Partner with technology, operations, risk governance, compliance, and product teams to ensure seamless delivery of credit risk changes
  • Evaluate the impact of credit risk changes on the overall risk profile and profitability outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in credit risk, change management, or project management roles
  • Experience managing control breaks and BAU activities within a highly regulated financial services environment
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in developing and executing detailed plans to deliver changes on time and within budget.
  • Deep understanding of credit risk management, risk control frameworks, and regulatory requirements related to credit risk
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to evaluate the impact of credit risk changes on profitability and risk performance
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
