About the role
- Serve as the primary point of contact providing a world-class experience for HNW and affluent self-directed clients
- Identify, build and deepen relationships to gain incremental wallet share of the HNW/Ultra HNW and Affluent segment
- Provide quarterly value-added engagement with clients - high touch, remote, consistent communication
- Refer opportunities to segment partners (Lending Consultants, Wealth Solutions Advisors, Small Business Partners, Relationship Manager, etc.)
- Anticipate complex financial needs of clients and educate on Citi solutions across products, services and tools
- Assist self-directed retail clients with placing unsolicited trades for Stocks, Mutual Funds, ETFs, Brokerage CDs, Treasuries, and other Fixed Income products (including margin and options)
- Complete account maintenance requests and other service inquiries while ensuring KYC/AML and other compliance norms are adhered to
- Resolve customer complaints according to FINRA policy while promoting customer satisfaction
- Manage client follow-up and collaborate with various departments to resolve client issues and fulfill business needs
- Provide guidance regarding asset movement (ACATS), forms processing, account conversions, rollovers and more
- Utilize web-based systems including Salesforce, DocuSign, Lexis Nexus, and more
- Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions and escalate/manage/report control issues with transparency
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience (minimum 5 years preferred)
- Preferred 3 years of Investment industry experience
- Experience in a proactive, successful sales and service role in the financial services industry
- Strong understanding of investment account products and services
- Required US FINRA Registration: SIE, Series 7, 63 (Series 66 preferred)
- This position requires registration as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry and maintaining/renewing that registration annually
- Ability to retain knowledge and support a wide array of products and services
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Must be a self-starter, problem solver and a goal-oriented team player able to work without direction

- Experience handling unsolicited trades, margin and options

- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
