About the role

Gathers operational data from various cross functional stakeholders to examine past business performance
Identifies data patterns & trends, and provides insights to enhance business decision making capability in business planning, process improvement, solution assessment etc.
Recommends actions for future developments & strategic business opportunities, as well as enhancements to operational policies
Understanding of Wholesale Lending business and products
Translate data into consumer or customer behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies, and communicate clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leaders all findings
Continuously improve processes and strategies by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools, and capabilities
Work closely with internal and external business partners in building, implementing, tracking and improving decision strategies
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

10+ years of experience leading the strategic development and implementation of data solutions to support business objectives
Prior experience in leading or managing a team of data professionals or project teams.
Demonstrated expertise in advanced Excel functionalities, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, data validation, and complex formulas for data manipulation and analysis
Extensive experience in managing, processing, and analyzing large, complex datasets, ensuring data integrity and quality
Ability in strategic thinking and the ability to frame business problems
Excellent analytical, technical and/or statistical skills with proven ability to translate large volumes of data information
Wholesale Lending Experience: In-depth knowledge and practical experience within the wholesale lending domain, understanding its unique data requirements and business processes
Experience in establishing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure data quality, compliance, and security.
Proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and database management or proven experience in developing interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau is a plus
Education: Bachelors/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
