About the role
- Supports the management and optimization of risk policy for a $150B+ portfolio
- Partner with central Risk functions to ensure consistent and efficient portfolio-wide risk mitigation
- Lead the team in performing quantitative analyses to assess risk-adjusted return
- Drive innovative thinking about leveraging new tools/methods
- Ensure simplification and standardization of processes and strategies
- Maintain a strong culture of risk and controls in the team
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in credit risk management
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred
- Bachelor's/University degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, or equivalent experience
- Proven negotiation skills often used at a senior level
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with urgency
- Ability to obtain support and buy-in across a wide range of internal and external audiences.
