About the role

  • The Financial Crimes Global Policy Adherence & Engagement Team within the FCFP organization supports the delivery and ongoing direction of a comprehensive Financial Crimes Program in partnership with multiple functions such as Compliance, Operations, Technology, Risk, Audit, and multiple stakeholders at all levels of management.
  • This team is responsible for fostering a culture of control and compliance, customer centricity and accountability while leading efforts to identify, anticipate and mitigate AML, Sanctions and Ant-Bribery regulatory, reputational, and operational risks.
  • The Financial Crimes Analyst will support USPB Retail Financial Crime activities related to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions/Screening, and Anti-Bribery & Corruption (AB&C) for USPB.
  • Scope of coverage includes CIP (Customer Information Program), KYC (Know Your Customer), AML, Transaction Monitoring (TM, CTR, etc.), and screening (sanctions and non-sanctions), and Anti Bribery & Corruption.
  • Primary responsibilities include Create guidelines for the policy adherence responsibilities Review, provide feedback and approve 1st line USPB procedures Support the review of 1st potential application documentation, ensure compliance with policy Execute ongoing processes and activities/controls to ensure adherence to

Requirements

  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to write clear, concise, grammatically correct content
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of USPB Cards, Retail Bank or Mortgage preferred
  • Knowledge of AML/KYC/Sanctions/Screening policy and processes preferred
  • Ability to identify and escalate potential risks, policy breaches and/or control gaps
