About the role
- Lead global Fund Middle Office Technology, defining and executing strategic roadmap.
- Drive adoption of AI/ML and cloud technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
- Manage and mentor a globally distributed software engineering team; oversee resource allocation and performance.
- Design system architecture, ensure quality of deliverables, and maintain documentation and controls.
- Oversee change management, regulatory reporting implementations, disaster recovery, and testing.
- Own end-to-end development, implementation, and support of proprietary and vendor middle office platforms (portfolio accounting, performance, compliance, OTC valuation, investor reporting, data management).
- Partner with product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Provide architectural guidance, code reviews, and promote best practices in CI/CD, testing, and security.
- Represent technology in client engagements and RFPs; articulate technical vision to stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and contribute to strategic direction.
Requirements
- 15+ years of relevant experience.
- 8+ years of people management experience.
- Proven track record leading large-scale technology initiatives and delivering complex software solutions.
- Extensive experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Hands-on proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, Java, C#, Go).
- Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and data warehousing principles.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Experience integrating and leveraging AI/ML models in production is a plus.
- Comprehensive understanding of Fund Middle Office and post-trade services.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements is a plus.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's preferred.
