About the role
- Citco’s Group Risk Management function develops and implements frameworks for managing risk across the different business lines providing risk management expertise, reporting and oversight as part of the second line of defence.
- We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has a keen interest in risk management, in particular financial risk (credit risk, market risk and liquidity risk) and is looking to gain further experience.
- The person will be joining a small team that focuses on identifying, monitoring, reporting and managing of financial risks within the Citco Group of Companies with the main area of focus on the Banking Services Division with banks based in the Netherlands, Canada, Cayman Islands and Curacao.
- The role is for someone who is eager to learn and is comfortable with numbers to develop and become a subject matter expert within the team for risk analysis and quantitative analysis tools utilising Excel, Access, VBA and SQL skills.
Requirements
- You will have a degree or qualification in a numerical discipline or equivalent experience
- Must be highly numerate and have a logical, analytical and thorough approach
- Working experience with Microsoft Excel required, experience with Microsoft Access a plus
- Knowledge of SQL and Visual Basic is desirable
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- Ability to keep calm and priorities work under pressure
- Interested in modelling the impacts from Global Regulatory Developments
- Excellent attention to detail
- Adaptable team player with a proactive approach to problem resolution
