About the role
- Develop, design, implement, and maintain comprehensive training programs and resources for internal employees and agents
- Deliver engaging interactive training sessions both in-person and virtually
- Provide technical training and support for agents, growers, and employees
- Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of our training programs
- Seek feedback and make continuous improvements to coursework
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure training meets business objectives and compliance standards
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
- Travel up to 50% to deliver training sessions, attend industry conferences, and meet with stakeholders across different regions
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 5-10 years crop insurance underwriting experience
- Strong knowledge of federal crop insurance programs, underwriting guidelines, and compliance requirements
- Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for learning and growing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Driven self-starter with the motivation to achieve a set goals and objectives
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information to a variety of audiences
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and independently with minimal supervision
- Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, CoPilot) and other relevant software, including Canva and PDF tools
- Ability to travel up to 50%
