About the role

  • Serve as an HSE resource ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Chevron Operational Excellence (OE) standards
  • Support crews and supervisors with HSE standards, Control of Work and Construction Standards
  • Coach and engage field personnel through significant field presence and through a HOP lens
  • Monitor contractor performance for OE compliance
  • Lead or contribute to HSE performance improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
  • Drive HSE performance improvement amongst WFE contractors through communication of V&V and Construction Assurance engagement findings
  • Participation in constructability reviews
  • Review of engineering standards, construction standards, equipment installation standards and other applicable technical requirements

Requirements

  • High School diploma required
  • 5+ years supporting Oil & Gas Upstream and Midstream Facility Construction in an HSE and/or operational role
  • 10+ years supporting Oil & Gas Upstream and Midstream Facility Construction in an operational role (preferred)
