About the role
- Collaborate with sales operations teams to ensure accurate, timely, and predictable sales commission for Germany-based Cisco sellers
- Manage end-to-end approval, implementation, and reporting requirements related to sales compensation with the German Works Council
- Ensure local legal compliance by collaborating with the Works Council to develop, update and implement any necessary compensation policy changes
- Conduct regular interlock with the Works Council, including negotiations on IT Tools, salary structure and alignment with legal teams
- Support in-program changes, local nuances, and drive resolution for employee escalations related to sales compensation
- Partner with business leaders and the People & Communities ecosystem to execute Country People & Culture plans
- Support the delivery of cross-functional people projects such as restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
Requirements
- German speaker
- Compensation or Sales Compensation experience
- In-depth country knowledge and local HR expertise in Germany
- Proven experience as a trusted HR consultant, advisor, and coach with local Works Council experience
- Strong business acumen
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills
- Critical thinker with strategic agility and the ability to work dynamically and collaboratively
