About the role

  • Support Cirque du Soleil Group’s various business units in their procurement needs of all kinds
  • Manage and coordinate procurement projects of varying scope: Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quotations (RFQ), Requests for Proposals (RFP)
  • Lead the procurement process from requisition, to supplier selection, through negotiation and contract finalization
  • Prepare and validate all documents related to the procurement process (NDA, templates, evaluation grids, benchmarking, recommendation, etc.)
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses of submissions against selection criteria defined with the business units
  • Contribute to the review of agreements and ensure they include all negotiated elements, whether negotiated independently or with support from designated experts (corporate tax, insurance and risk, legal affairs), and finalize the contract signature process according to the signing authority policy
  • Measure and document cost savings and performance indicators
  • Ensure proper implementation and compliance with the Procurement policy in place at Head Office.

Requirements

  • A university degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Law, Finance, or another relevant field
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in procurement, including at least one year of experience managing tenders
  • Ability to read and understand technical specifications and business requirements
  • An impeccable professional ethic
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing environment, capacity to influence a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with its members
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Analytical skills and great attention to detail
  • High level of autonomy
  • Excellent proficiency in French and English and strong communication skills.
