💰 $126,000 - $166,000 per year

About the role

  • Oversee Maine program contracts and strategic partner relations
  • Serve as primary CAA liaison to the Maine Department of Environmental Protection (DEP)
  • Ensure CAA meets performance metrics outlined in statute, regulations and contracts
  • Coordinate with the CAA national team for registration, reporting and fee collection processes
  • Support the development of guidance materials for producers
  • Manage auditing, technical assistance, procurement, and other operating functions
  • Coordinate strategic partners and engage local communities and stakeholders
  • Conduct required studies and manage data and reporting obligations
  • Track and analyze needs assessments for EPR programs
  • Provide regular updates to CAA leadership on EPR program development
  • Represent CAA in state and regional meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience in solid waste management or other related industries
  • Strong demonstrated contract management experience
  • Excellent organizational, strategic and leadership skills
  • Ability to quickly learn about new policies and programs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
  • Outstanding time management skills
