  • Technical Requirement Definition: Translate customer, service & solution partner requirements and business workflows (defined together with the Product Manager) into detailed technical specifications for the development team to execute on our integrations and public APIs.
  • Technical Feasibility Assessment: Investigate and document the technical aspects of changes introduced by 3rd parties (strategic & platform partners) that we integrate with and its impact on our connections and public APIs.
  • Product Backlog Management: Own and maintain the team's product backlog, including creating, refining, and prioritizing support requests, user stories, epics, and tasks based on business value, technical feasibility, and customer/partner feedback.
  • Requirements Elicitation and Definition: Actively works alongside the Product Managers and engages with customers, service & solution partners and internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, Onboarding) to elicit and clearly define technical requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • AI-Generated Insights: Analyze AI-generated insights to guide the direction of enhancements to our integrations and public APIs.
  • Development Team Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for the development team, answering questions, clarifying requirements, and providing necessary technical and business context during sprints to ensure efficient execution. Participates in planning, refinement, demos & retros.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with the Product Team members to manage expectations and communicate product roadmap prioritization, and release status to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Acceptance and Quality Assurance: Together with QA define acceptance tests for execution to ensure that completed features meet the specified requirements and maintain a high standard of quality and performance.
  • Go-to-Market Support: Collaborate with Product Marketing and documentation teams to ensure successful feature launches, including training internal teams and presenting product demos to internal stakeholders, customers and partners.
  • Process & Data Modeling: Develop, document, and maintain process and data models for integrations and public APIs to support clear requirements and prevent the perpetuation of poor business practices.
  • Data Security and Compliance: Collaborate with the Security team to ensure that all API integrations adhere to company data security standards and platform-specific compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years experience as a Technical Product Owner, Technical Business Analyst, Developer or similar role, preferably focused on SaaS platforms, APIs, or system integrations.

Understands system architecture and codebases, APIs, data flows, integrations, and technical trade-offs—but typically is not writing production code. Understands system behavior, constraints, interfaces, and architectural decisions enough to make informed trade-off decisions.
  • Agile Expertise: Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and the tools used to manage backlogs (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating business requirements into clear user stories and communicating effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical Thinking: Highly analytical, with the proven ability to develop flow diagrams, process maps, and data models to support requirements documentation.
  • Customer & Partner Focus: A strong understanding of customer needs and business processes, with a natural curiosity and high level of compassion for solving customer and partner problems.
  • Problem-Solving & Bias for Action: Proven ability to work cross-functionally to drive solutions, prioritize competing needs, and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. A self-motivated teammate with a bias for action.
