About the role

  • Manage complex database systems in production.
  • Execute performance tuning, automation, and database lifecycle management tasks.
  • Ensure database integrity, security, and performance across test, corporate, and production environments.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of database administration in a 24x7x365 environment.
  • Strong knowledge of OLTP systems, Database Administration, Data Warehousing, backup/recovery, and database replication.
  • Experience with database lifecycle management, automation, and performance optimization.
  • Proficiency with Oracle RDBMS, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and cloud-native databases such as Snowflake or Redshift.
  • Hands-on experience with Goldengate Replication.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet) and automation frameworks.
  • Experience with AWS database services (RDS, Aurora) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor peers and coordinate with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
