About the role
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Thailand supply chain strategy that aligns with global priorities, optimizing efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and operational resilience.
- Oversee procurement, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and distribution processes to achieve best-in-class performance.
- Leverage data analytics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational innovation.
- Champion the deployment and integration of advanced supply chain technology systems to enhance visibility and efficiency.
- Cultivate and sustain strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and alignment with business goals.
- Drive contract negotiations and vendor terms that maximize value and mitigate risk.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, quality assurance, and operations, to ensure seamless execution and alignment.
- Host executive leaders and customers visiting the Thailand manufacturing site, showcasing operational excellence, and fostering strong relationships.
- Manage logistics and global shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with international trade regulations.
- Inspire, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to foster professional growth and high performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of proven experience in electronics manufacturing supply chains, with a demonstrated ability to lead large-scale operations.
- Fluency in English and Thai, with strong communication skills to navigate a global, matrixed environment.
- Expertise in procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relations, with a track record of delivering measurable results.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Proficiency in ERP and WMS systems to support operational excellence.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills, with experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
