About the role

  • Develop and maintain Ciena’s visual brand identity across diverse design projects, including iconography, infographics, presentations, trade show graphics, advertising, collateral, social media, websites, and video
  • Contribute to the evolution of brand guidelines, templates, systems, and assets
  • Create layouts and designs that align with creative briefs and marketing objectives
  • Manage artwork production processes for trade shows and internal/external events
  • Design and modify infographics, diagrams, and illustrations to enhance visual storytelling
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver high-quality creative assets
  • Ensure all deliverables meet deadlines and maintain the highest quality standards

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer (in-house or agency)
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art direction, visual communications, or related field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Bridge), Figma, and Microsoft Office
  • Portfolio showcasing expertise in layout, typography, and visual composition must be included with the application
  • Experience designing for global brands or working within established brand guidelines
  • Proven ability to develop designs for trade shows and events under tight deadlines
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
