About the role
- Provide clinical case management services under the Navy’s SAIL program to Sailors identified as at-risk for suicide
- Conduct risk assessments, safety planning, and clinical case management under the supervision of a licensed practitioner
- Support Sailors through structured follow-up and coordination with behavioral health providers
- Conduct clinical assessments, including use of C-SSRS and other evidence-based tools
- Develop and implement individualized safety plans for at-risk Sailors
- Provide follow-up case management and coordinate care with Navy and civilian providers
- Document services and maintain compliance with Navy standards and reporting requirements
- Participate in training and ongoing professional development under supervision
Requirements
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage/family therapy, or doctoral degree in psychology
- Tier I providers must achieve independent licensure within 36 months of hire
- 2+ years supervised post-graduate clinical experience
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass background investigation
- Preferred: Experience providing clinical case management in suicide prevention or crisis response
- Preferred: Familiarity with military behavioral health systems
