About the role
- Responsible for the review of fund valuations, capital activity, pricing, audit support, and tax compliance for sponsored funds
- Provide investor relationship support and assist with internal and external audits
- Support the fund’s annual tax responsibilities
- Resolve issues and identify and implement controls
- Participate in various ad hoc assignments including new projects
- Enable work environment optimal for thriving in role
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business
- 5 – 7 years of Fund Administration, Tax Accounting, or Audit and Accounting experience of hedge or private equity funds
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Computer literacy
- Experience with Hedge Funds and Private Equity Funds
- Expanded knowledge of alternative investments, security analysis and industry related expertise
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Positive and professional attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively multi-task
- Prior experience with investor relations
