About the role

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop a minimum governance plan
Define and implement data governance processes aligned with the existing architecture
Promote data governance best practices across the organization
Facilitate communication between different business areas to ensure governance practices address all requirements
Assist in creating and maintaining documentation related to data governance

Proven experience in data governance, preferably within Azure and Databricks environments
Strong knowledge of data product development practices and “Data as a Product.”
Experience working on projects that required defining data governance processes
Proactive and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
Ability to engage with diverse business areas and stakeholders
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
(Nice to have) Fluency in English, both spoken and written
(Nice to have) Relevant certifications in data governance and data engineering
(Nice to have) Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices
