About the role

  • Lead the engineering team in designing, implementing, and maintaining the full Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint, Mail/Exchange, Teams, Power Platform, Copilot, Mail Routing, and DLP
  • Develop best practices for Microsoft 365 administration, security, and compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of Microsoft 365 services
  • Manage mail routing and DLP policies to ensure data security and compliance
  • Stay updated with the latest Microsoft 365 features and evaluate their impact on the organization
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Microsoft 365 services
  • Maintain documentation for Microsoft 365 configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security protocols
  • Oversee project development and ensure timely delivery
  • Define and implement governance models for Microsoft 365 environments
  • Align platform capabilities with business strategy and long-term vision
  • Evaluate platform metrics and contribute to strategic planning
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience
  • At least 3 years in a technical leadership role within the Microsoft 365 suite
  • Proven experience in leading engineering teams
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint and Exchange
  • Strong grasp of Microsoft 365 security and compliance features
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
  • Familiarity with Azure and Active Directory
  • Core M365 Services experience: SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive
  • Scripting & Automation: PowerShell for administrative tasks and automation
  • Azure integration and services experience
  • Knowledge of security and compliance policies (e.g., DLP, MFA, Conditional Access)
  • M365 architecture and governance knowledge
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines
  • Preferably Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or equivalent certification; preferred certifications: MS-100, MS-101
  • Hands-on experience with M365 migrations and deployments
  • Agile development experience
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
