About the role
- Lead the consolidation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial forecasts and results specifically related to Cost of Goods Sold
- Create and update templates, models, and reports utilized for Supply Chain financial planning as well as company level presentations to the CFO, CEO, and Leadership Team
- Coordinate planning timelines and deliverables across various business units
- Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to guide strategic decisions
- Coordinate and lead meetings to review key initiatives and priorities with various members and groups within the Supply Chain organization
- Collaborate with Operations and Procurement to identify cost savings opportunities
- Provide financial reporting and accounting support to finance teams located at the manufacturing facilities
- Perform core financial month-end tasks including journal entries, data and variance analysis, metric tracking and reporting
- Prepare and maintain capital expenditure reports
- Support the implementation and optimization of planning/consolidation systems
- Assist with updates/upgrades of SAP ERP system
Requirements
- 5+ years of broad financial experience
- 2-3 years in a supply chain finance role within manufacturing or CPG
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business required
- Strong knowledge and understanding of general accounting principles and cost accounting in areas of Factory costing, Contract Manufacturing, Logistics, Inventory and Procurement
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to identify, act and implement ideas that drive continuous improvement
- Ability to present concepts, recommendations, and analyses to senior management in a clear, concise and actionable manner
- Advanced MS Excel / Power Point skills required
- Able to balance multiple priorities in a cross-functional environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Works independently with limited supervision
- Working knowledge of SAP, Power BI and other dashboarding tools preferred
