About the role

  • Using systems to their maximum potential and make reporting effective, efficient, timely, accurate, and insightful
  • Complete studies on current manufacturing equipment installations to evaluate operational efficiency and line performance
  • Assist with the support of implementing projects for improvement for instance: Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing
  • Analyze current operational processes; develop and implement ideas for improvement
  • Develop performance standards & metrics; implement analysis and reporting processes to monitor operational performance
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering, Food Science, Business or related field
  • Possesses interest in working food manufacturing
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Students with a minimum of one year of major specific classes, preferred
  • Ability to work in a plant environment with exposure to loud, hot, cold, or wet environments
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk and climb stairs for eight hours per day
