Organizes, and directs all assigned resources, including people, equipment, and supplies that support the provision of care
Assists the Manager to ensure smooth function of the department
Maintains excellent working knowledge of all respiratory care policies and procedures and works in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment
Provides overall coordination and delivery of illness management and health promotion for patients and families in assigned area(s) e.g., Critical Care ICN, PICU and ED areas, UCC, medical/surgical units, and/or Outpatient Clinics
Establishes respiratory processes using scientific principles to provide safe, high quality, comprehensive, and age appropriate respiratory care
Acts as a liaison with medical staff and all other hospital personnel
Communicates effectively and works collaboratively with other Clinical Supervisors as well as the multidisciplinary team
Coordinates PTO/vacation with night shift clinical supervisor to ensure consistent leadership presence
Requirements
Associate's Degree Required and 3-5 years experience
or Bachelor's Degree Preferred and required within 2 years of start date and 3-5 years experience
Does not include time spent on clinical rotations as a student.

Certified Neonatal Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (Employees must obtain Certified Neonatal Pediatric Respiratory Therapist or equivalent within 180 days)

PALS, NRP & BLS are required upon hire
