About the role

  • Identify new business opportunities in the Middle East and Asia.
  • Assist existing and new business partners in growing their businesses with sales of Herr’s products.
  • Collaborate with government agencies for import/export opportunities.
  • Plan and execute dynamic sales meetings and presentations.
  • Build relationships with existing and potential distributors and Herr’s employees.
  • Create, maintain, and analyze customer sales reports.
  • Attend various tradeshows and events to foster customer relations.
  • Engage in domestic and international business travel regularly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) from a 4-year accredited educational institution with a business or marketing related concentration.
  • Four or more years of related sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior international sales experience preferred.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Must have the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Must have the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
  • Must have a valid driver's license in the country / state of residence.
  • Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English and Spanish.
