About the role
- Lead the launch of CHEP’s new parcels distribution solution, supporting early customers through onboarding and stabilisation.
- Act as the coordination point across Digital, Operations, Asset Management, Planning and Commercial teams during the early phase.
- Build trusted relationships with parcel distribution and e-commerce customers, ensuring their needs shape how the solution performs.
- Surface risks, resolve issues and improve processes to strengthen delivery, recovery and operational performance.
- Bring customer insights back into the business to influence product and solution evolution and internal readiness.
- As the solution matures, identify opportunities and engage new targeted customers to grow adoption within the channel.
Requirements
- A completed Tertiary Qualification in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce or a related field is advantageous.
- Proven experience in e‑commerce, parcels logistics or supply chain innovation, with the confidence to operate in an early‑stage, evolving environment.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to interpret numbers, customer behaviour and operational signals to guide decisions.
- Well‑developed stakeholder engagement and communication skills, enabling you to work across Digital, Operations, Planning, Asset Management and Customer teams with ease.
- Demonstrated customer savviness – you listen, understand operational realities, and translate insights into practical improvements.
- Solid project or program management capability, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and maintain momentum.
- A balanced mindset of business management + business development, with the aptitude to shift focus as the channel matures.
- A self‑starter who is comfortable shaping a model that isn’t fully formed, and who brings creativity, problem‑solving and sound judgement to daily decisions.
