About the role
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, with primary focus on new client acquisition
- Manage a pipeline where approximately 50-70% of opportunities are inbound, while consistently generating and closing outbound-sourced opportunities to meet and exceed quota
- Partner with Solutions Architects to design and present tailored proposals
- Negotiate MSAs and SOWs, coordinating with Ops and Legal
- Stay engaged post-sale for strong handoffs and expansion opportunities
- Provide market feedback to leadership on positioning and strategy
- Represent Cheesecake Labs at industry events and executive forums
Requirements
- 5-10+ years selling B2B services at digital product agencies, technology consultancies, or software engineering firms
- Proven track record closing $200K+ deals in multi-stakeholder environments
- Comfortable with longer sales cycles involving discovery, solution design, executive alignment, and negotiation
- Experience selling to startups, scale-ups, and enterprises
- Strong commercial judgment on pricing, scope, risk, and deal structure
- Can discuss technology at a business level (you don't need to code, but you need to guide solution conversations intelligently)
- Excellent communicator who earns trust with senior executives
- Highly organized, self-directed, and accountable for results
- Proficient with CRM systems to manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and report performance
