Own the end-to-end development lifecycle for new features within Salesforce Service Cloud and Zendesk to improve agent productivity and the customer experience
Choose the right tool for the job (declarative change, custom Apex/code, or leveraging a 3rd party application)
Collaborate with business systems analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions that are maintainable and scalable
Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions that integrate Salesforce Einstein and other AI services to automate processes and provide intelligent insights
Partner with other engineers to architect new features and ensure seamless integration with existing Service Cloud applications
Maintain a customer-centric and data-driven approach, monitor the performance of features, troubleshoot issues, and inform future enhancements
Requirements
5+ years of Salesforce development experience, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex, scalable, and maintainable solutions on the Service Cloud platform
Zendesk development experience is a plus
Demonstrated experience with the full software development lifecycle within an Agile or Scrum environment
Strong command of development tools like Git, SFDX CLI, DevOps pipelines, and/or other development tools
Strong sense of ownership and accountability for the entire feature lifecycle
Collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous learning
Bonus: Experience with Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, chatbots, or other AI tooling, and ability to identify initiatives where AI can be strategically applied
