• Lead permitting efforts, including federal injection permits and state-level air approvals, to get operations approved.
• Build and maintain relationships with EPA, state regulators, and local agencies; manage stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor shifting regulations, flag potential issues, and develop plans to mitigate regulatory risk.
• Coordinate and align technical work with Operations and Policy teams; ensure cross-team collaboration and execution.
• Propose regulatory or policy changes when current regulations don't accommodate the science; work with policy team to implement.
• Travel 20–30% initially for on-site permitting and stakeholder work, tapering to <20% thereafter.
