About the role
- Meets with managers to identify staffing needs and objectives, review job descriptions and position details.
- Sources candidates through contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, outside recruiting partners, job fairs, direct mailers, social media, and internet sites.
- Screens candidates via telephone to ensure they meet Company and job requirements and schedules qualified candidates to interview with hiring managers.
- Manages hires through the full life cycle recruiting process in the Applicant Tracking System.
- Calculates experience and make offers to candidates that managers select for hire, transitioning them seamlessly to the HR Service Center for onboarding. Maintains regular follow-up with candidates.
- Provides new manager training regarding the interview and selection process and use of the Applicant Tracking System.
- Assists with budget preparation, finding cost effective means of recruiting, and reviews invoices related to hiring staff.
- Assists with weekly and monthly recruiting reports and metrics.
- Maintains working knowledge of applicable employment laws, trends and processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED required; College degree strongly preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of sourcing or recruiting and hiring experience
- Healthcare recruiting experience preferred
- Competent understanding of current employment laws at the local, state and federal levels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate; proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software
- Consulting and collaboration skills. Interdepartmental sensitivity
- Ability to plan, initiate, administer, and evaluate recruitment programs
- Work under moderate supervision, exercising like amount of discretion and independent judgment
