About the role
- Supports the design and implementation of technology products or computer programs using computer software; identifies, understands, and documents customer or product requirements; develops technical specifications.
- Provides input to design, build, and tests original applications; tests existing applications; troubleshoots and resolves applications issues.
- May compile and present technical papers to promote PCS Ferguson/SLB products and services.
- Contributes to a work group; works well with other engineering and technical team members.
- Provides technical assistance for product and process improvement, failure analysis, and testing.
- Contributes to the department continuous improvement culture.
Requirements
- College, university, or equivalent degree from an accredited program in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field required.
- Experience working with mechanical assembly and service an asset
- Previous experience working with machinery and power tools considered an asset
- Experience working with hand tools and air tools
- Plunger lift, GAPL/PAGL optimization preferred, however not required
- Class 5 driver’s license with clean record
