About the role
- Acquire new security distributors to build out Chamberlain Group's access control strategy for Community and Facility end-user segments
- Build product awareness, adoption, and sales growth in the security distribution channel through regular engagement with dealers and prospects
- Support dealer engagement initiatives with segment end users in collaboration with New Business Development and National Integrator teams
- Represent Chamberlain Group at industry trade shows, councils, and networking events
- Facilitate trainings for distributor sales/spec teams and dealers
- Support implementation of go-to-market strategies for new product deployment
- Build competitive product knowledge and train/mentor others
- Track and record distribution activities and sales opportunities in Salesforce
- Comply with health/safety guidelines and protect company confidentiality
- Maintain professional knowledge through workshops and networks
- Contribute to team effort and participate on projects as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge across the access control and system integrator spaces
- Ability to travel up to 70% - domestically and internationally; valid driver's license
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or Communications
- Preferred: Work experience in the Security Industry / Access Control Industry
- Preferred: Proficient in sales systems, mechanical aptitude, consultative selling, electrical engineering
