About the role
- Develops and refines methodology for annual goal-setting workshops with program teams, focusing on continuous improvement best practices.\n
- Leads annual workshops to review and set goals, ensuring alignment with CHA’s strategic plan and guiding teams to refine performance metrics and action steps.\n
- Leads quarterly checkpoints with program teams to review progress, identify barriers, and implement course corrections to achieve goals.\n
- Develops comprehensive strategy documents, including monitoring tools, annual and summary reports, initiative proposals, and communication materials for leadership and program teams.\n
- Ensures alignment of data collection with departmental and organizational goals.\n
- Provides high-level analysis and interpretation of data to inform programmatic decisions and strategy adjustments.\n
- Coordinates complex data projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and improvements.\n
- Manages data security protocols and compliance within Resident Services, overseeing the development of guidelines and best practices.\n
- Liaises with CHA departments to manage data needs for external reporting, ensuring timely delivery.\n
- Supports the Program Specialist in building capacity for independent data management and analysis.\n
- Guides the development and implementation of department-specific communication strategies, ensuring alignment with program and organizational goals.\n
- Supports complex communication projects, including external research collaborations and data-sharing agreements.\n
- Manages the Resident Services website and quarterly newsletter, including content creation.\n
- Represents Resident Services at research collaborations and strategic initiatives, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to advance departmental and organizational goals.\n
- Develops presentations, reports, and strategic documents for leadership and external audiences, articulating program impact and outcomes.\n
- Manages multiple projects simultaneously and responds to change in a positive manner.\n
- This position may be asked to handle tasks outside of job description to meet broader goals of CHA and Resident Services.\n
- This position occasionally requires working hours outside of CHA’s established hours of 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Monday-Friday\n
- This position is eligible for remote work up to two days per week following a successful completion of onboarding with Resident Services.\n
- Performs all other duties and projects as assigned.\n
- Supervises and provides guidance to the Program Specialist, ensuring effective execution of assigned responsibilities and supporting professional development.
Requirements
- This position requires a bachelor’s degree in policy, research, urban planning or related field; Master’s degree preferred.\n
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience is required in an urban planning, service, research, or policy related capacity.\n
- A combination of education and experience may be considered.\n
- Strong knowledge in areas of research, data analysis, and problem solving is required.\n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel and Access experience is required.\n
- Statistical knowledge and work with related programs desired (e.g. R, SPSS, Excel).\n
- Must be self-directed, motivated, team oriented and able to work independently on complex and crucial projects.\n
- This position requires effective communication skills both verbal and written and inter-personal skills to work with a diverse staff of managerial and professional employees to coordinate the completion of assignments and effectively communicate project deliverables.
