About the role
- Work closely with our IT Security team to address security concerns and help with incident response
- Monitor security controls and analyze the impact of their logs using SIEM technology and scripting
- Review and improve security and IT controls to ensure they are up to date and fully applied
- Work with vulnerability assessment tools and manage the application of patches
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology with a security focus, or related fields, and are going into your senior year this fall
- Experience with Windows, OS X, and Linux is a plus
- Familiarity with networking concepts (how websites work, how ports and IP addresses work, how encryption works, etc.)
- Passion for computers and security, with a strong desire to learn and a proactive, “can-do” attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal and customer service abilities
- Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills, with close attention to detail and a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to function well in a fast-paced and occasionally high-stress environment
- Ability to travel to our Draper, UT office for occasional meetings
- You are available full-time (M-F 8-5 pm)
