About the role
- Assist sales in structuring quotes and guide on discount and contract terms.
- Manage the review and approval process for non-standard requests with their guardrails, ensuring adherence to internal policies.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success to ensure seamless communication and alignment on deals, and assessing financial implications of complex deals.
- Analyze data to identify trends in win/loss & competitive reporting and provide data driven recommendations.
- Help support leadership in recommending ways to streamline the end to end deal process to improve efficiency and deal cycles.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a finance, deal desk, legal, or sales operations role, preferably within a B2B software sales environment.
- Proven experience in understanding SaaS agreements and multi-element sales agreements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
