About the role
- Design and run performance, load, stress, and endurance tests that reflect real customer usage
- Identify performance bottlenecks across applications, APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Partner with Software Engineers, QE, and DevOps to troubleshoot issues and improve system performance
- Help define performance benchmarks and success criteria
- Analyze test results and clearly communicate findings and recommendations
- Automate performance tests and integrate them into our CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor application performance trends and help prevent issues before they impact customers
- Continuously improve our performance testing tools, frameworks, and practices
Requirements
- 2-5 years experience in performance and/or load testing for web-based applications
- Strong understanding of modern application architectures (APIs, distributed systems, microservices)
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like K6, JMeter, LoadRunner, Locust, or similar
- Experience analyzing metrics from logs, monitoring tools, or APM platforms
- Solid understanding of how systems behave under load (CPU, memory, network, and I/O)
