About the role
- Provide database administration support for legal accounts and company portfolio
- Manage Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022: security, tables, indexes, stored procedures, SQL reporting, maintenance jobs, and optimization
- Create and maintain databases in a Clustered Server environment and apply data model design and maintenance
- Apply data lake, data warehouse, and data mart architectures and integrate with legacy infrastructure
- Implement redundancy and high availability solutions (mirroring, log shipping) and perform full backup and recovery
- Facilitate migration of systems into cloud infrastructure and upgrade SQL Servers to latest versions
- Setup reporting servers and develop reports using SSRS; responsible for DBA functions and report development
Requirements
- Top Secret Clearance required
- Database administration support experience
- Experience managing Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022 (security, tables, indexes, stored procedures, maintenance jobs, performance optimization)
- Experience creating and maintaining databases in a Clustered Server environment
- Working knowledge of data lakes, data warehouse and data mart architectures, metadata and data modeling, data flow, entity relationship diagrams, schema architectures and query languages
- Experience with database redundancy and high availability techniques (mirroring, log shipping) and full backup and recovery for SQL Server 2019/2022
- Experience facilitating migration of systems into cloud infrastructure
- Experience upgrading SQL Server versions and creating reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Experience setting up reporting servers and performing DBA functions and report development
