About the role

  • Enterprise Architect to support the I.T. business mission of a large-scale government enterprise’s IT infrastructure
  • Collect information for strategic business mission planning and IT investment; experience with PMI, ITIL, CISSP, SDLC, Agile, ISSO, Six Sigma, CMMI
  • Work with leaders to gather requirements and provide strategic IT investment recommendations
  • Provide an enterprise-level view for system owners, planners, designers, developers, and subcontractors, considering budget constraints
  • Demonstrated engineering in Windows Desktop applications, remote access, MS Windows 7, SQL Server, VMware, EMC, SAN storage, Cloud as a service, Broadworks, Polycomm, BlackBerry, iOS, Android; information security; wireless; networking
  • ITIL, PMI, Agile, Change controls
  • Provide recommendations from prior system integrations
  • Excellent writing/verbal/interpersonal negotiation and communication skills
  • Ideally, VMware server/VDI; PKI; Windows 2003/2008R2 termination

Requirements

  • Knowledge, experience, and abilities to broadly understand an organization’s technologies and teaming with leaders to collect information for strategic business mission planning and IT investment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and professional maturity and senior-level IT competency; exceptional oral and written communication abilities and knowledge in PMI, ITIL, CISSP, SDLC, Agile, ISSO, Six Sigma, and CMMI
  • Experienced with EA frameworks, including Zachman, and TOGAF
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Windows Desktop applications, remote access, MS Windows 7/2003 Terminal Server, MS Windows 2008R2 Server, SQL Server, VMware, EMC, SAN storage, Cloud as a service, Broadworks, Polycomm, BlackBerry, Apple iOS, information security, wireless technologies, system networking
  • Understanding and utilization of ITIL, PMI, Agile, Configuration and Change controls
  • Capability in providing technical engineering practices recommendations, advice, and enhancements from integration engagements of prior successful systems integrations
  • Exceptional writing/verbal/interpersonal negotiation and communication skills
  • Ideally, VMware server and VDI understanding/experience; Knowledge of PKI; Windows 2003 Terminal Server; Windows 2008R2 Server; Cisco UCS; Broadworks; Polycomm; BlackBerry, iOS, Android OS; PMP; ITIL; CISSP
