About the role
- Designs, develops, and maintains creative and engaging graphics for litigation proceedings.
- Creates and produces timelines, document excerpts, diagrams, scene recreations, and other artifacts.
- Responsible for video editing and format conversions.
- Conducts Audio Visual system setup, support, and take down, as well as basic IT support.
- Ensures all evidence is presented efficiently and clearly in court evidence presentations.
- Assists with revision/improvement of created diagrams/figures in expert reports.
- Assists with developing opening and closing slides, estimated at 100-150 in total.
- Revises/improves graphics already created, estimated at 80-100 slides in total.
- Consults with client experts and third-party witnesses to develop/refine graphics, estimated at 50 or fewer slides.
- Works with possibly 1 economic and 1 industry expert.
- Interprets data to create graphical representations of the information.
- Uses MS Office PowerPoint 2019 (currently installed on client trial laptops).
- Provides realistic estimates of the time required to develop specific graphics requests.
- Meets all established deadlines.
- Provides 24/7 availability throughout the local San Jose, CA trial.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia, Digital Design, Marketing, Fine Arts, or related concentration.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
- High proficiency in graphic design, infographics and MS PowerPoint.
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, MS PowerPoint with experience in WordPress, Webflow, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS and Dreamweaver preferred.
- Ability to create, design and modify mockups for web-based platforms.
- Must be able to provide samples of graphics previously designed independently.
- Ability to self-manage projects and work within tight deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate willingly and effectively in a team setting.
