About the role
- Support various aspects of the company's portfolio
- Participate in teleconferences or technical meetings
- Perform configurations, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Process storage requests, migrations, and decommission tasks
- Monitor failed system components and coordinate support
- Respond to monitoring alerts and warnings
- Complete all scheduled maintenance
- Prevent data loss or storage system outages
- Review and process tickets according to the service level agreements
- Provide initial response and escalation for outages
- Schedule maintenance actions in a timely manner
- Create Power Shell and VBS scripts
- Facilitate the migration of systems into cloud infrastructure
- Perform daily system monitoring
- Review system and application logs
- Apply OS patches and upgrades
- Configure/add new services as necessary
- Prepare and review technical assessments
Requirements
- Top Secret Clearance Required
- Experience with Veritas Enterprise Vault
- Strong understanding of Windows Servers
- Ability to perform configurations, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Experience with Power Shell and VBS scripting
