About the role
- Conduct and publish forensic accounting research on U.S. and European listed public companies in the financial sector and real estate
- Rigorous financial statement analysis and interpretation of company-specific and sector-specific data
- Publish high-impact reports for institutional investor clients detailing research findings
- Complete bespoke research requests and perform custom research projects for clients
- Maintain industry-specific dashboards and respond to ad hoc client inquiries
- Communicate research findings and views regularly both virtually and in-person
- Collaborate with members of the U.S. and European and industry-specific sector teams
Requirements
- 5+ years plus experience in equity research, financial analysis, or with a financial regulator (FDIC, OCC, etc.)
- Experience researching, analyzing, or auditing companies
- Strong background in financial statement analysis
- At least one of the following credentials a plus: CPA, CFA, MBA
- Strong knowledge of and interest in financial markets
- Superior written and oral communication skills, and ability to work well within a team environment
- Experienced presentation delivery, including comfort in discussing analysis and methodology in a face-to-face environment to prospects and clients
- Willingness to occasionally travel for client meetings and internal events
