About the role
- Act as the key Finance contact for assigned stakeholders, helping them manage the entire profit and loss (P&L) for their area of business
- Analyse monthly and quarterly actuals
- Lead budgeting and forecasting activities and assist with forecasting to reflect strategy, risks and opportunities
- Provide functional Finance leadership and commercial insight across business areas
- Provide financial and commercial support and analysis to SLT members and their leadership Team
- Present and report the business’ financial performance to ExCo / SLT member(s)
- Understand risks and opportunities; ensure variances to budget are understood, communicated and reduced
- Lead yearly budgeting process with aligned business units
- Obtain, interpret and utilise financial and operational reports from a variety of sources
- Undertake ad hoc project work, financial modelling and tracking of strategic initiatives
Requirements
- This is an experienced hire
- Qualified Accountants, currently working as a commercial Finance Business Partner within Insurance
- Driven, self-starters with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-first environment
