About the role

  • Advise leadership on compliance, risk mitigation, and HR policies; draft and negotiate internal contracts; oversee investigations; ensure multi-state employment law compliance.
  • Manage employment law cases from pre-litigation through litigation; draft employment-related documents for clients; represent clients in mediations, hearings, and court; contribute to firm revenue growth.
  • Ensure all marketing and advertising campaigns comply with State Bar and Professional Responsibility Rules.
  • Review and approve all advertising, social media, and promotional content for compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • J.D. from accredited law school.
  • Active US Attorney Bar license (required).
  • 5+ years in employment law and contracts; litigation success preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance, contract law, and advertising regulations.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset for client development.
  • Preferred: In-house or law firm experience; familiarity with firm operations and billing.
