Systems Engineer

• Support Control Center operators from Control Systems Operations center.
• Once fully qualified, will support a 24/7 operation as part of a shift rotation.
• Support includes monitoring and troubleshooting of two proprietary SCADA connected control systems, network infrastructure, hardware monitoring, web services, and clients on an isolated Windows domain.
• Team supports datacenter with installation of servers, workstations, network infrastructure, wiring and patch panels, and monitoring support systems for communications, electric power, and fire suppression systems.
• Follow a training and development program for Operations Support Analysts.
• Assess Real-Time system status and equipment failures and coordinate repairs/replacement with appropriate vendors and users.
• Monitor and troubleshoot telemetry connections with field-located SCADA endpoints.
• Monitor, test, and manage Control Center data links with ERCOT, SIGE, and other entities.
• Perform physical security access control and visitor management in accordance with procedures.
• Install/remove Control Center OT equipment, cabling, and systems per System Owner requests.
• Support Control Center physical plant maintenance plans with vendor assistance.
• Coordinate work activities with other user and /or support organizations related to EMS/ADMS interfaces (e.g., Information Systems, Substation Engineering, Substation Operations and Telecommunications, etc.).
• Perform/execute first level administration tasks for EMS/ADMS computers and related infrastructure systems.
• Observe all company safety procedures when performing installation, repair, maintenance, and testing responsibilities.

Associate Analyst, Controls Systems Operations

General Counsel

• Manage and advise on the legal aspects of the Company’s real estate, surveying and right-of-way work, and related litigation matters
• Work closely with the Company’s Land and Field Services group and other operational personnel
• Advise on land acquisition strategy for major projects and day-to-day surveying and right-of-way matters
• Preserve and protect the Company’s fee and easement property rights
• Negotiate easements and consents to encroach in coordination with the Company’s operational teams
• Handle disputes with landowners, governmental entities, and other stakeholders
• Supervise internal attorneys and/or contract attorneys as applicable
• Manage outside counsel in litigated and administrative proceedings

Security Analyst

• Manage day-to-day Next Gen firewall administration, including policy management, rule tuning, and health monitoring.
• Configure and maintain Web application Firewall policies.
• Configure and manage Security, NAT, QoS, and decryption policies.
• Perform quarterly review of access control list and firewall policies.
• Ensures network security rules, standards, and architecture is adequate to safeguard the CNP network.
• Review system configurations.
• Implement automation scripting to improve Network Security Operations and Services Develop dashboards and provide routine metrics data collection.
• Support firewall lifecycle activities from pre-installation preparation through network integration.
• Execute testing and validation for new deployments, policy changes, and upgrades.

• Interfaces with technical vendors regarding security issues and recommend solutions.

Senior Network Security Analyst – Web Application Firewalls

• Must possess expert knowledge of real estate and property law, including eminent domain and condemnation proceedings, and federal, state, and local regulations, rules, and requirements related to same, and preferably knowledge of utility tariffs and their impact on real estate and land related agreements.
• Responsibilities will include supporting our business and business partners with acquisition and management of the land assets of the company, including capital investments, transactions, negotiations, and disputed matters related to land and field services work (including land acquisition and conveyances, sales, leases, transfers, easements, licenses, grants, gifts, attachments, rights of way, title work and title opinions), advising our business and business partners and negotiating agreements on various relocation issues with governmental and other entities; and managing disputes and litigation related to same (encroachments, trespass, nuisance, infringement, condemnation, etc.).
• Advise, counsel, and collaborate with a variety of internal stakeholders and business unit leaders on matters within area of responsibility.
• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate, in coordination with the Company’s Land and Field Services department and other operations teams, land and land purchase agreements independently without the assistance of outside counsel, as needed.
• Advise on large projects involving a significant number of simultaneous land and land rights acquisitions.
• Advise on eminent domain issues and manage condemnation proceedings end-to-end.
• Provide timely assessments and updates on land and field services and other matters for legal department management.
• Develop, coordinate, and provide training on land and field services risks to the business and other functions, collaborate with other departments to prevent, identify, investigate, and resolve such issues, and take appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
• Lead, develop, and mentor internal personnel and staff supporting real property legal work.
• Serve as the supervising authority over contract attorneys, as needed, and outside counsel retained on matters within area of responsibility.
