Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, including but not limited to: account reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and researching discrepancies
Process and enter monthly credit card statements
Enter accounts receivable billable numbers based on internal reports
Match and organize received bills to internal reports
Process received bills for payment
Manage a weekly check run from processing to mailing
Maintain and organize all vendor files
Receive payments and process deposits
Contact and collect delinquent accounts
Research, track and resolve any accounting issues
Compile daily performance data and prepare a variety of reports
Maintain and organize accounting files and agreements
Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
Assist Controller and Account Manager with annual financial audit
Ad-hoc projects, reporting and account reconciliations, and other assignments as needed to support the finance team
Requirements
1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Solid understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience using accounting software such as FloQast and Intacct (or similar systems)
