About the role

  • Conduct and Support Evaluations
  • Complete psychoeducational evaluations, ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with school teams and families to gather relevant data, interpret results, and support eligibility decisions.
  • Provide direct testing or observation support for evaluations when needed, especially in high-priority or complex cases.
  • Familiarity with IEP software/data entry, including facilitation of eligibility determination discussions with the team at meetings.
  • Attend district-facing REED and Eligibility/IEP meetings, serving as a quality and compliance liaison between CSES and school partners.
  • Address district concerns related to evaluations, timelines, and report quality with professionalism and solution-oriented communication.
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned, especially those aligned with organizational growth and clinician support.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Michigan
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting school-based psychoeducational evaluations
  • Prior experience reviewing or supervising psychological reports preferred
  • Experience interfacing with school district personnel, IEP teams, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with IDEA, state education codes, and compliance regulations
  • Strong knowledge of standardized assessments, report writing, and special education eligibility frameworks
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in digital systems used for documentation, scheduling, and reporting (e.g., Google Workspace, spreadsheets)
  • Competency with Strengths & Weaknesses Model for SLD eligibility
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
