About the role
- Analyze healthcare data to support enterprise-wide quality improvement initiatives, including Medicare Advantage Star Ratings and risk tier performance.
- Contribute to the development of predictive models and case mix adjustment strategies to better understand member outcomes and care gaps.
- Assist in building and refining dashboards and reporting tools using platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into actionable insights for operational and clinical stakeholders.
- Conduct literature reviews and synthesize findings to inform strategic planning and process redesign.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, compelling format.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Data Science, Health Administration, Health Informatics, or a related field
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Understanding of healthcare quality metrics, population health, and Medicare Advantage programs
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated initiative, intellectual curiosity, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
